Event Recorder Modification (VCR Alarm
Input) |
An event recorder is a VCR which will only be activated, (i.e.
start recording) when an event takes place. e.g. you may wish to
monitor an office area, store room etc. and only want to record
when someone enters this area, then the recorder must stop when
the person leaves.
Normally, event recorders are expensive items, but we can convert
a standard vcr to an event recorder, which is considerably cheaper
than buying a special machine.
A common method of using such equipment to provide a video recording
of events, is to fit a camera into a passive movement detector.
Whenever someone enters the area being 'watched' by the passive
movement detector, the machine starts recording. When movement stops
in the area being watched then the vcr switches off until further
movement occurs in this area. The machine will record until 30 seconds
after the last movement is detected.
Please note that the converted machine can still be used as a normal
vcr
ERM - Event Recorder Modification (Alarm Input)
This unit can be installed with a camera and produces sufficient
audio level to drive the input of a VCR without any additional amplification.
This unit is many times more sensitive than the usual sound add-on
supplied with most cameras.
The gain is fully adjustable so is ideal in covert situations where
the microphone is some distance from the people being 'listened
to'.

SP011 - Colour Underwater Camera with White LED
Illumination
The SP011 is a colour mini camera
for underwater use. It is ideally suited for underwater
inspection of boats, boreholes, pipes or hard to reach
places. Other applications include filming of fishing
experditions, monitoring sea life and normal surveillance
use outdoors. The camera's 6 white LED's allows it to
provide a colour in 0 lux conditions. LED's are powered
from a second DC plug allowing them to be switched off
when not in use. Other special features include extra-slimline
design (20mm diam) and low power consumption (12VDC@150mA).
